Bio

Dr. Jamie Davidson is a licensed psychologist with twenty-two years of experience as an administrator and over twenty-five years of practice in higher education.  He has served as the Associate Vice President for Student Wellness at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas since 2001, where he previously served as the Director of Student Counseling and Psychological Services.  Dr. Davidson oversees an integrated health, counseling, and wellness promotion center, as well as, a disability center, a women’s center, and student conduct office.  His passion is developing integrated healthcare systems that advance the optimal wellness of students, thereby enhancing their lives and their academic success.  

Dr. Davidson is a Fellow of the American College Health Association where he served as the 2016-2017 President.  ACHA involvement includes the Leadership Institute 2017 – present, Connected College Health Network (Data Warehouse) 2016 – present, Past Presidents Council 2017- present, Aspire Mentor 2017 – present, Executive Committee 2015 – 2018, Liaison to AUCCCD 2016 – 2018, Mental Health Best Practices Task Force 2006 - 2010, and Psychology CE Committee 2006 – 2015.  He also has contributed his expertise to innovation efforts such as the NCAA Mental Health Task Force, the American Psychological Association Integrated Primary Care Alliance, a SAMHSA Expert Panel Meeting on Collegiate Mental Health, and the Netflix “13 Reasons Why” Coalition.
